Albertus font
The Albertus font was designed by German-born typographer Berthold Wolpe. The Albertus font was produced for Monotype between 1932 and 1940. The Albertus font was based on Wolpe's letterforms cut into metal with a chisel. The letters on which Albertus font were based in bronze. The Albertus font has sharp boldness which makes it stand out in headlines and commercial packaging. Berthold Wolpe was a typographer as well as typographic historian. Berthold Wolpe spends his life in London.
