Aster font is commonly known as New Aster® font is a Book & newspaper font. Designer Francesco Simoncini designed this font in 1958, after the time period of 2nd World war. It brought reconstruction reconsideration of old values in the European typographical world. Francesco Simoncini is inspired by the movements of this time period & French revolution. His thinking is clearly focused in this font. It has transitional characteristics.
