Fournier font
Fournier was released by Monotype font family in the year of 1924. The original design is based on types cut by Pierre Simon Fournier circa, several influential designs of the 18th century. It was amid the earliest of the 'transitional' style of font & was a stepping stone to the more stern 'modern' style made trendy by Bodoni later in the century. They had more vertical stress than the older style types, better contrast between thick & thin strokes and small or no bracketing on serifs. It has a light, neat & clean look on the page, gives good market in text & retains an even color. It was designed by Pierre Simon Fournier.
