LTC Hadriano font
American book & designer Frederic W. Goudy did a rasping of a 2nd century marble caption he found in the Louvre when traveling in Paris. After ruminating on these letterforms for a number of years he designed a titling typeface in 1918 all around the letters E, P& R. He called the new typeface Hadriano named as real inscription. He designed a lowercase set for Monotype in 1930 although he did not want to add lowercase to an inscriptional letterform. It has properly cupped serifs & strong, generous body shapes. Distinguishing individual letterforms consist of the cap A & Q, and the lowercase e, g & z. It is an excellent choice for exciting headings & dynamic display lines.
