Background: This font was designed by Herman Zapf in the year 1986 though it became available in the late 1950s from D. Stempel AG Frankfurt am Main. This font is contained in the categories like Geralde font, Legible font and Venetian font. Zapf optimized the design of this font for its legibility producing a typeface which remained legible even on the inferior paper of the post World War II period. The letters are truly legible, masculine and are used as text in newspaper.
